DOESN’T TURN ON

For an electric stove won’t start, first check if the stove power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the oven is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning in the oven, then some other part will need to be replaced. The cause of the issue might be an surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER DOES NOT HEAT

A burner or stove that does not heat won’t do much good. Your oven does not heat if there is a broken oven sensor or bake element. A burner will not fire up if an element is broken or when the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. You should have a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it could be due to a broken thermostat or sensor. IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is when an igniter glows but it doesn’t light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We are able to determine if we are able to fix these parts or if we will need to replace the part.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens sometimes have door issues often. The door doesn’t open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to find out why the door doesn’t open up and then complete the repair in order to correct the issue.
